What's the easiest way to rent a unit immediately?
The easiest way to get started is to chose the 'MOVE IN' function for your desired unit right off of our website. At signup, you will choose your gate access, e-sign a lease from your computer or smartphone, enter payment information and - Voila! - you can begin using your assigned storage unit immediately! Easy right!?! Alternatively, if you like the sound of a human voice or aren't great at computers you can call us and we can walk you through the application process over the phone. Your choice but we’re told the the online reservation system is the easiest way to go. PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN LOCK! AND PLEASE USE THE ROUND DISK LOCKS MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR SELF STORAGE UNITS. THANK YOU!

What's the easiest way to reserve a unit for a later date?
Don't need a unit ASAP? Need a unit in a week or a month and want to make sure it isn't taken by someone else? Choose the 'RESERVE' function on our website to reserve your unit. And when you finally get to your MOVE IN date simply refer back to the reservation email you received and MOVE IN. It's pretty simple. AGAIN PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN LOCK. And you will not be able to access the facility from only a reservation. You need to MOVE IN to your unit to be granted access.

Our three facilities are conveniently located at 6 Industrial Park Road in Centerbrook, CT 06409, 30 Extrusion Drive in Stonington, CT 06379, and 5 Liberty Way in Niantic, CT 06357.

When can I access my storage unit?
Access hours are anytime between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM every day of the week.

Do you provide vehicle storage?
Yes we do. We provide outdoor storage for boats, RVs, cars, heavy equipment, etc. in Stonington. We also have a handful of climate controlled units that can accommodate vehicles in Niantic and Centerbrook. Call us for details.

What are your security features?
The safety of your belongings is our top priority at Storage Place. Our security features include perimeter fencing, keypad gated entry, and surveillance cameras.

What is drive-up access?
Drive-up access means that you can park your vehicle right in front of your storage unit to load or unload your belongings, making your visits to our facility quick and easy.
